Customers

Common questions

What to expect before a request and after trainer approval.

How do customers find trainers?

Customers can browse public trainer cards, approved gym locations, starting prices, review signals, and gym availability or readiness signals where available. Current beta requests are for approved gym sessions only; exact request details stay in the signed-in booking flow.

What happens when I send a booking request?

Your request goes to the trainer for review. The trainer can accept or reject it; rejected requests end without a customer charge.

Why do I need a saved card before requesting a session?

Traina may ask for payment readiness before you submit a request, so the session can be charged if the trainer approves. Card details are handled by Stripe, not stored directly by Traina.

When is payment taken?

Payment is charged only after the trainer accepts the request. The booking screen shows whether payment is required, paid, failed, refunded, or still processing.

How do cancellations and refunds work?

Refund eligibility depends on the scheduled session time and the applicable policy. The public refund and booking terms pages provide the formal rules; support may review cases after the session start.

Trainers

Common questions

How setup, requests, and earnings visibility work.

How do trainers get set up?

Trainer setup is handled with Traina support. The team helps confirm profile details, eligible 60-minute offerings, approved gym access, and availability for current beta requests.

Which packages can customers book?

Customer booking supports active 60-minute single-session offerings for approved gym sessions. Online, outdoor, home, and trainer-location workflows are deferred unless a later product flow explicitly enables them.

How does trainer availability affect requests?

Availability helps determine whether a customer can request an approved gym session. Keeping eligible offerings, approved gym access, and availability current keeps requests accurate.

What happens when a trainer accepts a request?

Acceptance starts payment collection. If payment succeeds, the session is paid for fulfillment; if payment needs attention, the customer sees the next step.

How should trainers read earnings and payouts?

Trainer earnings reflect booking, refund, and payout records. The earnings screen is a status view; final payout handling can depend on support review, refund status, and payment processor checks.

Gym owners

Common questions

How gym setup, trainer access, and PT booking readiness fit together.

How does gym setup work?

Gym partnership setup is handled with Traina support. The team helps configure venue details, active status, PT booking readiness, trainer access, operating hours, and venue fee settings.

How do trainer applications work?

Where trainer access review is enabled, gym owners can review trainer relationships in the gym workspace. Approved relationships can support customer booking when venue, trainer, and availability requirements are also met.

What does PT-enabled status mean?

PT-enabled status allows a gym to be considered for PT bookings, but it is not enough on its own. The gym also needs active venue details and availability that works with the trainer's availability.

Why do operating hours matter?

Gym-based requests need gym availability as well as trainer availability. Turning on PT booking without operating hours does not create customer-bookable gym sessions.
